Exploring World Events by the Light of Prophecy
In this ever-changing world God has given us a road map in His Word to help us to know when His final judgment will be released on the world and also when Jesus Christ will return and redeem His own.
The technology expansion over the last century in connection with the worldwide movement towards digital control over everything we do is a strong indicator that we are indeed seeing the initial stages of the building of the end-time global beast system.
About the Author
My name is Kelly Akins, and the Lord has led me to create this blog to help guide believers through the changing world and to encourage you to trust in Him no matter what happens. I will study and make comments and posts connecting current world events, technology, and political actions to the prophecies given in the Word of God. I don’t consider myself a Bible scholar, but I have been commissioned by the Holy Spirit to write this. Please check back regularly for new posts. I do not do this to get paid, nor to make a name for myself. My motivation is purely to warn those who will listen. My daily prayer is that God will open the eyes of someone to impending judgment and destruction that is coming to the world and the lost, and that He will lead them to eternal life through His Son. It’s as simple as first realizing that you are not your own god. You can’t save yourself. You have disobeyed God’s commandments and are deserving of punishment. But God through His mercy and grace loved us so much that He made the way to salvation.
By admitting that you are a sinner that needs forgiveness from God, and believing that Christ was put to death willingly as the supreme sacrifice for your sins, you will be saved. Your salvation is through your faith (belief and trust) in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as your substitute in death. (John 3:16-18; Romans 3:21-24, 5:8, 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:1-6; Ephesians 2:8-9)
