It’s Not What You Think

A time is coming soon when the world will be turned into the worst version of communism that has ever existed. Freedom will be a thing of the past. We are already seeing bits and pieces of it being put in place now—all in the name of peace and security. But, it will come at a grave cost. Many are already publicly backing any effort to end the wars and division in culture. A new public actor is about to be revealed that will intrigue the world and make people stand in awe.

As many in the world are looking for relief from modern problems of life, they are checking out or numbing their pain with drugs. All the advances in technology that promised more comfort and ease seem to be turning us into weak zombies.

Deception Through Manipulation

There is a leader that will soon rise up on the world scene, not by force or seizure but by charisma and manipulation. The Word of God prophesied this leader will be given power over the people (Revelation 13:4-8). Along with his cohort, a false religious prophet, he will eventually become a global dictator who will rule ruthlessly and unopposed. He will be the worst, most evil ruler the earth has ever had. He will hate the Lord and all of His people and move against them.

He will be given technology and power to actually create an image (likely using AI) and will force all people of the world to worship him and join his new order to be able to even survive (Revelation 13:8, 13:13-17). Even though the Bible says God’s people will not worship him or take his mark, he will still kill many of them and likely imprison many others.  But, don’t think that following this ruler will make for an easy life. The price of survival will be very high. You would have to surrender ALL your freedom, agree to being controlled right down to what you can buy or sell, and live under harsh rule (think North Korea). But worst of all, you will lose your soul, for those that take the mark and worship the Beast can never be saved (Revelation 14:9-12). You will be the target of God’s wrath and destruction and will be tormented with fire day and night. Although God’s people will be on the run, you will have to decide whether a little bit of comfort and a few extra years is worth losing your soul.

There are already indicators that we are moving quickly into the Daniel’s 70th week (the last seven years before Christ’s return). A peace agreement will be confirmed between Israel and other nations first, and then after 3 1/2 years this world leader will take the stage as he turns against this peace and betrays Israel. This will mark the beginning of the great tribulation and shortly thereafter God’s judgment against the wicked.

Conclusion

Everyone wants to go to heaven, but few are willing to deny themselves and submit their lives to Christ. As more prophecies unfold, I pray that these words you are reading will come back to memory. Christ died to make the way for your sins to be forgiven and to be reconciled to God. Put your faith and trust in the Lord. Believe His Word and seek Him and His righteousness everyday. Pray and believe.
